Sorry to get off topic, but was anyone else surprised that the guy who owns that RHD car (in the pic) actually left the stupid silver sticker on his driver's door?? I think I had that peeled off before I even left the dealer lot!

This topic has been discussed many times, and unfortunately, no solution currently exists to move the climate controls to the bottom.

That JDM unit is auto, and therefore has servos in the system, whereas ours is mechanical. Swapping the two will be difficult and not just an afternoon project.

Here is another thread if you're interested:

How about leaving them where they are.....andthen just fabricating a new center console...or a section straight down from the cubby hole?

Sorry for repeating a known issue. My car (US spec) came with a similar sticker on the driver's door, but with all the airbag disclaimers on it. Regardless of the message (airbags for US or AYC/ACD for everywhere else), it wouldn't leave a goofy silver sticker on my door! That was my point.
