2-way alarm pager antenna
if u have a two way alarm with a pager i have a question for u...
where did u mount the antenna for the alarm?
1.on the driver side below the visor
2. on the side of the windshield... drivers side
3.behind the rear view mirror (wont fit there on my evo)
4.. other?
right now mine is directly over the drivers side visor under the roof carpeting...
im not sure if this effects the range or not...
anyone experiment? im looking for the longest range possible... while keeping the antenna out of my line of site...
thanks

keep in mind that higher is better, BUT u want to keep the antenna positioned vertical. i.e. staight up and down. if you turn the antenna horizontal, you are changing the polarity of the radio signal = lower range.

go outside, point your index finger at the sky, that is how the antenna SHOULD be positioned. VERTICAL, i.e. up and down.

i understand vertical and horizontal, my question was how does the orientation of the antenna effect the signal.?

Well, if his antennas are like mine were....Its kinda hard to orient them vertically..... Mine have two one on each side and i think the horizontal orientation is fine....?
