looking to get a evo

Like the title says im looking for a evo 8,9.What should i be looking for when i go to check one out ?

Check for all the vin tags on all the body panels. Check all glass make sure its says Mitsubishi on them. Check the oil level and if the dip-stick has any burnt oil left on it after you wipe it off. That would indicated lack of oil changes. And most importantly drive it and listen for abnormal noise's although these cars to make a lot of noise.

pretty much agreed wht95.. but the glass isn't a big issue, because if you have a rock chip in your windshield that spiders, you have to get it replaced.. As stated before these cars to make quite a bit of noise in the interior with something being loose somewhere and slightly vibrating and you can't figure out where its coming from.

Also try to find a car that has a service history behind it, and has been documented.. like mine.. which is FS on the forums on here.. ahem.. '05 for 15k... look me up.. lol
