I seafoamed my Evo 3 weeks ago and man it had a lot of smoke come out of my exhaust. My neighbors was like Wtf going on....Evo ran smoother after it.

i heard it will damage the turbo seal. Is that true? will it damage anything?

Hot rodders have been using seafoam for decades, nothing new. Before seafoam, they did it with ATF. It's perfectly safe. I learned how to use seafoam from my parent's neighbor... an old hot rodder.

Lol at all the other comments in this thread. Odub is the ****, good stuff with seafoam, I've thought about that using that stuff once or twice my old eclipse improved quite a bit after I had used that in the Intake manifold and the gas tank.

Odub, just a random thought do you it could be a knock sensor that could be freaking out a little bit and giving you a random count?

so today I seafoam my evo and it was smoking alot. I changed the oil after adding it to the crankcase. However, it triggered my CEL and I don't know what happened. Any way I could get rid of it?

I would love to see the effects of seafoam, then a take apart, I know alot of guys swap mivec heads on, so it would be nice to see before they swap the head out.... and see the actual effects of the product.

my evo felt better after seafoam, it smoke a litle bit, i get 22mpg consistenly 50/50 city/hwy driving
