I think this is "inherent" to Mitsubishi vehicles because my Silver Galant and also my BBY Evo has this problem... In different light the plastic parts of the car seem to be a different color compared to the metal body parts of the car...

This is 100% accurate. If you carefully look at any vehicle on the road, you will notice the same problem.
