not really...you need to weld a fitting on the cylinder head for the water to circulate...i ran a stm oil cooler setup with a spal fan on it to aid in oil cooling...

i drove my hardblocked engine on some long road trips (2-300+ miles) and it was fine...it just would get hot if i started doing pulls down the freeway...it cooled down though if i just layed off of it for awhile...

that being said my next engine will be with a wet 4g64 block just because i hated watching oil temps all of the time ...
