car is back to life
My Evo is back to life thanks to the EVOM community. The whole time it was the immobilizer. Everybody kept telling me to check the immobilizer but there really isn't alot of info out there on "how to" disable the immobilizer properly using ECUFLASH. First all i found was to put "FFFF" in the misc of the immobilizer thought that worked but guessed not. then a week later ppl started to pm me on changing the peripherial bit 1 to 0. Anyway if u incounter the same problem just pm me and ill pm u back on how to disable the immobilizer.
thanks EVM community

you need the tractix cable and a labtop. you dont need evoscan but you do NEED ecuflash. with ecuflash you can change it. How many keys do you have to the car? Also what else have you changed to the car recently?

I had recently had my wipers go crazy, they went on and wouldn't go off. Then I went to open the trunk and all four doors locked. I haven't done any wiring or electronic, the previous owner had installed a Greddy EBC, and a boost gauge.

The problem I'm having is that I can't get my car to start now because of the immobilizer being on, I have one original key. I don't want to have to bring it to the dealer. Any way to do this without an ecu program?

Thanks to this thread my car started back up. My friend stalled my car a few times due to never driven an Exedy twin disc clutch. We checked everything from battery to starting fluid. Then I looked at this thread and it said check fuse 1 and there it was!
