ETS Tubular Stock Replacement Manifold
I've been searching this place forever trying to find some SOLID numbers on the ETS 8/9 Tubular Replacement Stock Manifold vs stock (or anything for that matter)... Sure it looks good but im not willing to spend 700+ dollars on looks... I will be upgrading to a fpred very soon and i would like to get the most out of my set-up... Shearer is on the top of my list... next is Full Race... but if ETS costs 100 LESS than the Full Race and delivers the same power than u get my drift...

Does anybody have a link on here or any other website with this info...

We don't do a lot of stock frame turbochargers here. I just called a couple of our tuner shops and the common response was around 20whp on pump gas with 1.50". The E85 gain isn't so much and they would recommend 1.25" runners on it. We have sent out a ton of these manifolds, I wish I had a dyno sheet handy.

Michael I can do a back to back on GASOLINE when I switch back to stock for the Rally testing I want to do.
To answer the general question we have tested these only on E85 at the moment here, but I did test a X MR with a header on Gasoline. The highest prior number I had gotten out of a X was 328-330 and I have done this numerous times so I feel thats pretty solid result for the mods. This car had all the same ones and the ETS replacement header. It put down 340, 339, 341. So on average it seems 12-13whp, but the X MR does suck up power more than a comparable GSR. For the percentage loss vs what a GSR normally does with these mods (minus the header) there is a about a 10% difference so that 13 grows to 15whp pretty easy. The Full Race I have tested are somewhere between 15-20whp on average conditions on our dyno, but I only tested one of those as well so I dont have alot of back to back comparisons.

and since i'll be testing the manifold i will also try out the ebay Intercooler... I've already bought one from there for my previous evo so i know that fitment is A+ so thats left to prove are performance figures...

We normally see around 20whp going from cast to Tubular.. If your trying to squeeze out every last HP or make the most you can at a certain boost level they are well worth it..

For a tubular manifold my vote goes to Toxicfab...

He uses 1.5" runners...he can also make one that will work with a stock heat shield...Check out TCC's coating thread, he just coated some for Collin's customers...I got mine coated by TCC...The manifold & coating job are amazing...

im curious in response, spool characteristics and such ..mid range to top end power or low end to mid range response.fpred and stock block will have different characteristics then my fpblack and 2.2 stroker.but should have some what similar gains..
