Hey everybody,
Finally got myself registered !!!
Glad you like the vids, and there will be more to come shortly as we do a lot of this gymkhana type events out here.
Details of the car as a few people have been asking are as follows;
The car is a 2004 Evo VIII (US Specs)
I do not know a lot about the history of the car but i know where it stands now...
The car has basically been built as a gymkhana / autocross car.
So it has a hydraulic handbrake (Best Mod Ever!!!),
Some trick Diffs, (Wavetrack Front & Ralliart Rear) which have both been fettled slightly ;-)
Tein Coilovers (I forget which model)
Steering Rack is from a group N Evo (Nice and short)
The exhaust system i forget the name of but its 3" turbo to tip.
Stock intercooler with 4 custom spray jets.
Injen intercooler and intake piping.
Various intakes, currently on some mishimoto carbon box thing...?
2.5" Mishimoto Aluminium racing radiator.
Cusco lower sway bars / braces.
HKS 272 Cams.
Turbo is stock 8 housing with some torque gaining extra's ;-)
Brakes are stock with only pads and discs being changed (EBC Red Stuff Pads & DBA Drilled and slotted rotors).
And last but not least, the MoTeC M800 which gives me variable Anti-Lag settings, depending on the track layout, it also has 2 maps for pump gas or race fuel depending on what i feel like doing. The MoTeC also controls the force of the intercooler spray in accordance with the boost pressure.
The setup of the car is not high hp but more for instant hp all the time and LOTS of torque.
My previous car was a stockish 310whp Evo 9 and this 8 is WAAAAAAAY different !!!
