Fabric wearing out!!

hey guys so idk if its just me leaning all the time driving but anyone notice a serious bald spot on the driver side door panel just behind the little cubby on the door where you elbow would rest? anyone else who has this prob have any neat fixes for it or put something there that looks nice?

BTW - I was in the Orlando area last week, and did not see ONE Evo. The place was overrun with 350z though.

soooooooo many Z's my roommate is one of them, but for being the evo capital of florida we hide a lot haha mad ninja

I had the same problem on my 03 evo. I HATED it! I never did get a chance to fix it, but I had plans to recover it in new black suede. I got ssl now, so I have no wear spots!!

Mine is starting to have the same issue. For some reason went cheap on the door panels with the very thin fabric compared to other models. My girls 02 lancer RA has much better panels than my 06 GSR...

I remember my armrest being nasty too. The one in the center console. It got like sticky when it was humid out.

yeahhhh i hate that thankfully its cool now but when it was hot and humid like south florida is 90% of the time i was always sticking to that armrest

yea starting to happen on my 03..even tho its only got 15k miles. i guess i must lean on it even tho i have no recollection of driving with such a habit.
