Melted piston??!! These are what the tops of your pistons will look like if you run pump gas. E85 a little better and meth worse.

Well I know where I'm getting my motor from when it's time...Buschur FTW, tried and true

Shell non synthetic 20/50... Thick b/c I'm in Florida so no really hard freezing temps and its thick enough to coat and lubricate nicely

burned and melted? the piston heads could be wiped clean from the carbon build up and they would look like brand new.. there isn't even a mark on the top of them.. number 4 looks like the day it came in on the pallet after being worked on by Buschur.. absolute perfection.
Heads at Buschurs as of Friday.. should be hearing something soon..hoping for great news

hopefuly u can get it up and running very soon and put another 70k on it. on a side note, any idea which rods/piston, and cr u are running on this motor?

Crower rods, buschur custom JE pistons.. Not sure on the exact CR though

Was it just water drops that were on the pistons then? He really thought those the actual pistons themselves being melted.

sorry to hear about what happened, but I'm glad to hear about so I know how long buschur blocks are lasting. i wouldn't expect anything less from buschur though. call me a fan boy or what ever u will, but BUSCHUR POWER!!!

Did you wipe the piston tops after pulling the head? If not, that is very clean for pump!

Very impressive to see a built motor go 70k (@3Xpsi on a 37R on pump!), certainly a testament to the quality of the BR motors..

That's just alittle coolant dropped on after pulling the head
