Overall, I'd say pretty stable. Noise from camera microphone + wind = not great. Need to find a muffle for that.

And no, no street laws broken. Strange looks from camera mounted to the side of the car - yes.

Another reason I like the goPro - waterproof case eliminates most of the wind noise

I'll work on a muffle/microphone block. I think I piece of semi-dense foam over the microphone might do it (or a lot of duct tape).

Thanks for the vid. I plan on using it in car only and think it will serve my purpose. I think I'll be purchasing this once I get paid this week. The wind noise did not bother me, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't bounce all over the place. I guess if I wanted to take out of car vids, I could just grab an external mic and have that inside the car.

Wind was more a function of the limits to my camera. I have some ideas here to fix that.

Mine is mounted to my harness bar, ill take a picture of it. Ive actually never even used it come to think of it.
