In the current issue of AutoWeek Magazine (not sure of the date, but in Jan. 2011), there is an article about their test drive in the prototype for the next top of the line Lamborghini, which will be replacing the Murcielago later this year. While raving about the great handling of the new Lambo, which must be a $350,000 car, they say that you can toss it around with the same level of confidence as you can a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. High praise indeed.
Thanks for the post.

a gtr over a lambo? pleaseeeeee. yea, the gtr is amazing for the price and handles good. but in the end its just a big, heavy, automatic, nissan.
i love my evo as much as everyone on here, but id trade it for a lambo in a sec. and regardless of how fast the gtr is, most of us would trade THAT for an original r34, even tho its slower, right?

I'm sorry I'm a bit technology-challenged and can't post a copy of the article right now, but here's a little more detail. It's the January 10, 2011 issue of AutoWeek, which has a picture of the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe on the cover. The article starts on page 28, and the heading is "Fast, Very Fast; Lambo Murcielago replacement will be a world beater." There are some pictures of the prototype they drove, which are somewhat disguised. On page 29, the paragraph I am talking about says:
"You can throw the car around with the same level of trust as with a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. The LP 700-4 lets you sort out your preferred cornering stance, and with the camo off, it's as solid as a rock at 190 mph on the high-speed bowl. It's already a superb machine."
The new Lambo has 700 hp. It weighs 3300 lbs. (much less than the Murcielago).

Seems to be better praise for Lambo, which arent exactly known as corner carvers. They finally stepped up to the superior Mitsubishi drivetrain/suspension schooling. $350,000 well spent I say.
