The "chrome" ceramic coating is only rated up to 1,200 deg F, exactly why we don't offer it as exhaust temperatures can reach 1,700 deg F.

Yea I had the header on the 951 jet hot coated and it looked great till I heated up to 1600 or so then it started to get dulled out.
