Get the anti fouler from Ebay, put it in and clear the code. Simple as that. It's your cheapest solution and most likely your problem.

When you've done that, then come back and fill us in

Nope, that would be bank 1, sensor 2.

A V style engine has 2 banks. In a V8, the side with cylinders 1,3,5,7 would be bank one, 2,4,6,8, would be bank two.

I contend it is bank 2....

At any rate, getting the O2 sensor out of the exhaust flow will cure the problem.

I thought the bank 2 thing sounded strange. The anti-fouler trick worked for me, so is probably the cheapest option.

any knowledgeable tuner will be able to eliminate the ses light without having to install an anti-foulers, o2 sim, ext bung etc......

You can also set up the ECU to pass all OBD2 tests if you want to. But the anti fouler trick works, anyone can do it, and it will only cost you $5.
