Question Reset ECU procedure

This may be a wierd question but once you have reset the ECU by pulling the negative, What EXACTLY is the REAL re-learning process? I just leave the car on idle for about 10 mins. But My car REALLY runs like crap if its not fully learned itself. Sometimes it takes way longer than 10 mins! It basically BOGS and dies..There have been times I drove off accidentally and everytime the clutch is depressed, my car would stall right away.

One of two ways I do it, either leave it idle for 10min or so or go for a drive. Sorry no more info here....! But it will eventually re-learn itself.

Takes about 10 minutes, depending on ambient air temp.

If you are still having problems, I would suggest looking into your ISC(or IAC).

It might be old, worn, slow and causing you to stall when coming to a stop or even idle will race up and down.

Good Luck

And it usually takes about 20 or so minutes for the fuel trims to reset as well...so that'd prob help a little too.
