Choice of fuels....93 w/ethanol or 91 ethanol free????
which would you choose? go for the 2 higher octane points with the 93 and 10% ethanol added or go with the 91 octane and no ethanol? mpg wise? tune? what do you think is better?

Think about it this way...the people who make tons of power, running high boost safely on E85 are at the opposite end of the spectrum. They use 70-98% ethanol with the remainder being traditional gas or some other hydrocarbon. In that context ethanol seems to be a good thing right? I see the 10% ethanol as a little bit of added protection...while in practice the only reason its added to gas is to oxygenate the mixture to promote more "complete burning" leading to less emissions. Our cars seem to like ethanol (as long as that is the fuel you tune with and run all the time), however, ethanol is not as efficient as gasoline and your gas mileage MAY suffer a bit.
