Driving school

Just wondering if any of you have done the Jim Russell driving school and how it was? I'm debating between that and the evolution school which I think is more auto-cross related. Anyway just looking for some feedback. Right now I just cruise the twisties but I'm planning on auto-crossing and maybe a few track days this year. Any input is welcome.

The club around here is rather chill, and you can get some of the more seasoned drivers to ride with you and give you pointers. I tend to just do that, rather than pay a school.
