Sounds like a vacuum leak.

I am running with a TBE but no tune, if anything that's why. (my tactrix finally arrives today though )

I really doubt it's a vacuum issue since the car is fine after a short wait. A leak would present problems all over and even effect power/mileage.

I'm not sure about the OP, but my issue is just the extreme cold. I'm sure playing with a tune could "fix" it by adjusting things during warm up... We're both running stock tunes so who knows how bad the values are for those extreme cold conditions.

It's so dependant on the temp, even a few degrees warmer and it's lightyears smoother. Here in Michigan negative temps are common, and the difference between 15* and 10* is huge. My car is just pissed off in that cold of weather. I let it warm up, now there's no problem.

Do you have cams at all? This is a BIG issue for those that are on aftermarket cams including myself.

Did you just buy this car in the last few months, out of NYS? Is it an MR? I'm wondering if this was a car that I was supposed to look at in September but the owner flaked on me when I told him I was coming out.

No, if you have cams, the vac will be lower for sure when its warm. Next time youre in it and its at operating temp, look again. if its 12-14mm/hg then you have cams in there.

Ok so i warmed it up before i left work and drove it. When i got home this is where its sits....I gave the gauge a little tap on the front because we all know how accurate the pro sports are -_-

And the needle jumped and settled down. I gave it a couple blips on the throttle to make sure it returns to the same spot. Every time it settles right around this area maybe 1 or to bars up or down.
