It nothing like my truck with cams, its has a small hicuppy idle i can actually get a video tomorrow of idle at cold and warm. Actually i might go out right now and get one of warm idle since i just drove it. You wont be able to see much. but you can hear it.....ill post it in about 25-30 minutes after it uploads
And by the way thank for the help so far. you guys are the only thing keeping me sane with this car

no problem. thats part of the fun with the evo. you never know whats going to happen :P
mild cams will eat vacuum too. i have gsc s1 and i see 12-14 in/hg much like you were seeing there. stock should be closer to 20
-- plus ive been bored off my *** at work, researching stuff for my own car... so happy to help didnt take any extra effort or anything! helped kill some time lol ..

Sorry if its hard to hear. Plus i talk a little bit dont mind my lisp it seems worse in videos than normal

sounds like a mild cam to me... but then again, i havent heard a lot of IX's idle. Its a bit warmer in these parts too and I no longer have any issues today. Car sounds pretty healthy, i wouldnt stress about it too much.

Still in the 30's here for at least the next week or so...it wouldn't surprise me if it had cams, the last owner had a lot done and threw it back to stock to trade it in. didn't find that out till after i bought the car.
