Hood Vent Weather Shielding?

I have a problem with water coming through the oem hood vent when it rains, is there anything you guys know of to block off the vent from under the hood?

LOL of course water is gonna come in there is a hole in the hood this will not effect anything ever.

The hole is there to let air in and out. Do not cover it from underneath

I have a Perrin Filter and my evo sometimes sutters in the rain. So it has been a mild issue for me. I surprised more people haven't had this problem.

I took my louvers off a few years ago, now there is just a hole with the mesh over it. No problems at all.

if its an issue on your car i would suggest building a shield around the filter that should block water and at the same time your filter will not suck the warm air from the rad.

Ever have problems with water hitting the HOT exhaust manifold when it's pouring? Jw bc they say cold water on extremely hot surfaces is bad..

do you have the oem plate that attaches to the hood or are you just running the mesh wire?

honestly, your filter would have to be SOAKED to affect your car...getting rained on isn't going to make your car stutter
