how much should i expect to repaint my evo and have it done nice...with thick paint and a decent clearcoat and 3m protection on front...

reason i ask, is cause i keep finding new dings and chips in my paint...all across the front of the hood and in chips just forward of the rear tires...which is a weird spot for chips...i'm not sure how it can chip there...and i got a few scratches on the gas door where i just barely ever put my finger to close the door...its like there is hardly any clearcoat and a very thin layer of paint on the car...i'm really displeased with the paint on the evo 8...sucks all around...

 

I was quoted 5k for the whole car done really really nice, 7k if I was changing the color and the door jams and such had to be sprayed again, the guy fixed some damage on my evo after some one tried to break into my trunk and the paint job is flawless and no orange peel,, I mean NONE,,

 

thats about what i'm expecting...also i'm gonna need my rear brakes paint touched up...some jackass wheelmonkey scuffed my rear driver brake paint while rotating my tires...grr

 

Has anyone had any luck in getting Mitsubishi to take care of some of the paint issues? I have not had my car for four months yet, but I have some horrible chips all over the place. In front of the rear dvivers side rear wheel and all over the front as well as the rear veiw mirrors.
