invidia exhaust manifold + ETS metal radiator hose

does anyone here have the Invidia exhaust manifold and an ETS metal radiator hose? I need to get something so my current hose is no longer rubbing my manifold. i have aluminum foil in between them (yea yea hillbilly fix lol) but its still slowly burning through. i was going to buy the cbrd radiator but if i can save some money by getting the ETS metal rad hose i want to do that. my only concern is the hose will not fit properly because i had to cut a good bit of my samco hose to get it to fit like it does now and it still rubs.

the ETS pipe is a stock replacement, and shares the same general shape as the oem hose. Chances are, if the oem is rubbing, the ETS will either contact the mani or be very close. If you don't want to take that chance, check out JMFab website...they have a nice polished hard pipe with a different design that shouldnt contact any manifold. Prob is a little more expensive than ETS's tho

if the stock hose is rubbing, the ETS one will also. it will eventually wear through, so you should go with the CBRD rad

Here's a link for you...

http://www.jmfabrications.com/store/...-Pipe-Set.html

This is for the upper and lower pipes...I'm sure you could call and order just an upper. See how the pipe only projects forward into the bay just an inch or two? It should fit...

thats not gonna work if the stock hose is hitting, his only long term option will be to get a radiator that moves the hose over, ie CBRD rad

You should be good with our hose, we moved it towards the driver side. Like I said over the phone. We will use you as a test subject If it doesn't fit, we will take it back.

Thanks!

Michael

any update on this? I might want to get an Invidia mani but am worried about the rubbing issue. If ETS rad hose works - this would be the way I go too!!

the ETS hose did not work for me. I ultimately had to purchase a radiator from CBRD. you could always take your radiator and have the fitting fabricated to point to the side. you cant go wrong with a CBRD product!
