Any bored with their Evos yet?
#94
Just because a car doesn't perform as well as the evo, doesn't make it any less fun to drive. Coming from an allmotor integra GSR, i can honestly tell you guys that in some aspects, that car was more fun then my new evo. It didn't handle anywhere near as good as the evo, nor have the low end torque, but that thing was a high revving beast that sent a chill down my spine when i shifted at 9000 rpm.
I'm not bored of my EVO...yet at least. I love my car in stock form except for one thing, the lack of top end power. The boost feels so great in the low end that it makes the top end feel like ***.

if all goes well, I will be racing my Honda S2000 in the East Coast Honda Challenge in the spring. The car is a kill switch and alignment away from being worthy (probably will need some more tinkering beyond that)...... cars are fun.
We have a 2003 cobra that demolishes the evo from a roll, but is horrible to get to hook up on it's stock tires.

One of the biggest attractions to the Evo for me is its amazing stock performance and the knowledge that as soon as I feel comfortable with how it is stock and even start to yearn for more, it's very affordable to add power to it with minor mods.
Now I just have to convince myself that I can live with the noise and roughness on a daily basis as my only car. =\

I am bored of my EVO's daily ride. The thing is just so lumpy, bumpy and just shakes you to hell. I wish the ride would be a little smoother. I must be getting pretty old! Maybe I need to trade it in on an E55amg.

I'm tired of the rattling, the new paint chip every time i drive, the suspension popping, the tires going bald after 3000 miles, the unforgiving 2nd gear, the clutch smell/slippage, and the sunroof creaking. Did i mention the suspension poppping? Just when I think I'm having fun the suspension throws out a few loud clunks (front and rear now) and 2nd gear gives a grind...Sounds like it's about to fall apart. After this thing is debugged and beefed up it should be a lot of fun, till then...
