What A Pillar Gauge Pod to get, and which to avoid?

If you want something that like that, save your money on the replacement steering column cover and just buy the actual "mounting cup" and screw it to both sides of your existing column. That's what i did (except I only have one on there.)

Id say thats pretty damn good for an overlay .

i recently bought the 2 pod pillar from them also im curious to how you took the speaker cover of the OEM pod and attatched it to the gauge pod.

I have the one from lancershop as it came on my car...

I'm not a fan of a pillar pods in general, so I removed it. It does in FACT screw into your stock A pillar (or at least thats how this chap had it installed). Honestly, I think its nice quality, and its fitment was such that I didn't realize that it wasn't a full replacement until I removed it.

If someone is interested in it, I'm willing to trade the pod AND the "screwed" stock IX MR A pillar WITH the speaker cutout, for an unmolested stock IX MR A pillar with the speaker cutout.

Just pm me if you have questions... regarding that or fitment or anything

I ground down the inside of the stock pillar where the plastic cover attachs to the pillar then apoxied it to the new gauge pod cover.
