Do you have to remove the Crank Pulley? I thought the sensor is visible without remove the Crank Pulley. I know you have to remove the Water Pump Pulley and P/S Bracket to feed thru.

I know you have to remove the 4 10mm bolts holding it on so you can get the timing cover off. Not sure if you have to remove the big 22mm I can't remember I know I did, if you want to remove that just put a socket with a breaker bar on it and "bump" the starter. Just turn the key enough so the engine cranks but doesn't start, worked every time for me.

I appreciate it, so to remove the cover, you have to remove two pulleies (Water/Crank). This is going to take five or six hours to replace this sensor...hey

Another good trick for holding a pulley still if you've already removed the belt is to take a long prybar and wedge it between two of the bolts to apply pressure when turning against it with a wrench. Crack one of the accessible bolts then rotate the pulley 90 degrees, rinse and repeat

This is also useful for tightening bolts down during re-installation.
