I read about 's new promotion on their web site - If you already own a , you get 'up to $3000' cash back on a new purchase. I stopped by my dealer this morning and they said it's $1000 on Evo's. Has anyone who already has a cash in on this yet? Did you have any problems with price flexibility (the cash comes from , not the dealer, so we should still be able to get a good deal.) Anyone?

 

That is true. If you own, lease, or live with a family member (same last name, same address), you can get $1000 from Mitsubishi in owner loyalty cash.

It's money towards another vehicle, I don't think mitsu. would dole out $1000 to every owner just to be nice. I am also wondering if they would try to jack me around on my trade in due to the fact that they would be lowering the price $1000

Go to your local junkyard, buy some crap *** Mitsu (any year, but as long as it runs) and get it titled in your name. Then present the title when buying your Evo and you get $1000 towards the purchase of your Evo.

I bought an Evo Monday, 12/15 and received the $1000 rebate due to the fact that I owned a Galant VR-4. Dealer was not at first aware that the loyalty rebate applied to the Evo as the first list sent out to dealers did NOT list the Evo. A revision was sent out later (the same day, 12/3) that included the Evo. Luckly the Sales Manager found the revised listing and I was able to buy the Evo at $1000 less than the low price I had already negotiated.

They needed to see and make a copy of my Galant VR-4 registration, which I had with me, and I bought the Evo in the exact color and equipted the way I wanted it.
