Farewell my fellow Evo friends! :(
I just sold my Evo VIII earlier this week. I video taped my farewell, careful its a tear jerker!
This wont be the last Evo I own, maybe a few years down the road after the hubby and I settle down, get a house and space for all our toys. Im gonna miss it, after all it was my first Evo. Has anyone sold their first one and had to get another? The first ones always stick with you!
Cheers everyone!![Beer](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/beer05.gif)

I couldn cope. Not with the fear of never owning one again. Did u have counselling to work ur way up to this so it wouldn be so hard? What did the husband sell to equal up to this his soul? Gosh I just cant imagine. Hope ur back in the game soon and driving an even better evo.

Aww thanks guys! Another reason why I am going to miss my baby, checking on here every other day for new parts!
Well I kinda made a responsible decision because the car just needed a lot of upkeeping at 117k miles, and me still finishing school the hubby was tired of paying for my fun. We are also planning on buying a house this summer..blah blah grown up stuff I guess.
And he on the other hand has his sooby building his 2.5L sti block, so I guess the fun wont stop here...reguardless he still has his toy! (his response, I bought a DD for myself and take care of you...engineers seem to always be right!)
So for now I'll be a good wifey so when the times comes for me to deserve another toy, the wait will be worth it.
Sux the kid who I just sold it too said he just ordered $4g worth of parts last weekend
at least she'll live up to her potential!

What exhaust was on it if you don't mind me asking. I had a previous evo in 06, gg 9 mr. Had to get rid of it because of insurance reasons. It was the hardest thing I had to do. Last June bought another gg 9 mr se. In august it was down at Buschur being built. I wasn't gonna let this one get away

I mean, we all have toys, and god knows my wife is tolerant of my spending on car parts... but if I told her we had to sell her sports car to conserve cash while I was doing a motor build I wouldn't be able to sleep with both eyes closed.
