hks 272 or gsc1 for stock turbo.

Hi was wondering which cams would be best for a stock turbo for this setup

16g turbo with 10.5 hotside
hks tbe
burshur ported manifold
injen intake and licp
pte 1000 cc
3in downpipe
megan 02 housing
mbc
fmic

if u can go with gsc s2 with upgraded springs. if not than s1.

is the gsc 2 idle loud. i live in ma and the state police doesn t like me to much. i am disturbing the peace with my hks alrdy don t want them to hear me at idle. lol

I will suggest S1. The car that I sold(06 Evo IX SE) made 402whp/450lb-tq on stock turbo, stock intercooler and S1 cams. The car also had exhaust, tune to E-85 and other stuff but the cams made great power.

You can also retain stock valvetrain as well.

thanks for the info fromWRXtoEVO my goal was to reach 400-450hp . good stuff any other opinion...

Im running hks 272s and love them. Mine lope pretty hard but u can tune the lope out if needed. Lots of power up top. I haven't run gscs but im sure I will be out voted alot of people use em and love them

I would go with the s2's... If your having problems with police then its not because of the cams. get a different exhaust

No, I don't believe its required but I would suggest that you upgrade them since your already changing out the cams, and it'd be a great insurance also from risking to float your valves.
