Might want to lose the street racing references before the mods close this thread.

Rexpeed makes great products but supplies terrible tape, go to lowes and get the red 3m double sided tape and line it up perfect once because that **** doesnt let go, Especially once it heats up once on a nice hot day. Another great way to keep it on is not going 140 in a 65, here in america we call that a felony and jail time.

I repainted my VG to put it back in I used 3M double sided tape. Make sure that the clips are on correctly when you put the new one on, and its a good idea to clean it real good you can either used thinner or reducer. good luck.

It's not a crime if it's done on the race track
I'll be attempting this today assuming innate time to wash my car before hand. I watched that how-to video on here and it was very helpful.

if the area was cleaned properly before the tape was put on, and the sides were under the weather stripping like they should be, I don't see why it would fly off... I've had mine for 4 years and the only thing that happened was the stupid clear coat came off. I decided to take the VG off and boy was it a PITA to take off. Had to heat gun it and have someone help me. =/ GL with your next one. I say stick to getting a black glossy one. And just make sure you use good tape and clean the area before applying the tape. =) GL

op, was your VG aftermarket? mine is stock and has never came off and has been to those speeds many many times. next time try cleaning the surface with rubbing alcohol and getting it really clean with the strong adhesive 3m tape or you could try getting some of the tape used from mitsu factory
