I've seen trying to compare spools up against gt3076R's.

The GTX3071r turbo might be one of the best stock motor/setup turbos available.

Lets compare:
GT3076r - .63 a/r housing
Flows 52lbs of air = roughly 520whp

New GTX3071R
Flows 56-57lb of air = roughly 560-570whp

I currently have been running a Full-Race Single Scroll kit with a GT3076r with .63 housing. The car currently makes 420-430whp at 23-24psi. Starts to spool around 3800rpm, full boost by 4300-4400rpm.

I just pulled my turbo kit apart, hoping to sell the old gt3076r turbo for the new gtx3071r.

I feel I should get better response as well as same or better peak power.

Anyone know how soon a gt3071r or gtx3071r spools? I have searched but the photos are so old.

full kit for 2000$ is a awesome deal

 

You can Also compare this setup to a precision 5857.

 

I am not affiliated with AMS or any other shop but have bought an ATP GTX3071R and will be having it tuned at AMS here in a few weeks. I have made a thread about it already and will update it when I get my parts and the tune is done. I will probobally only have a dyno graph available to show but at least it's something. Also if you check out the thread it lists my mods. Just wanted to let anyone that sees this thread that I should have something to show soon for anyone who is interested in the x71. I myself am very excited.
