I took apart my broken headlight tons of times to get it down pat so I did not mess up my good set

 

I did the headlights and tail lights on my 8. The tail lights were a bit more difficult to get apart than the headlights. I believe there is a how to on doing both.

Damn looks nice! I wanna try this mod on my headlights but I am afraid I would screw them up.

 

what did you use to seal them back up with black RTV?, Clear RTV? Btw they look very good

 

Bought a heat gun just for my heads and tails. The oven thing troubles me. The heat gun gives better control and has come in handy with other things. Will be doing my housings soon as I get a chance.

You said u left the turns alone? U didn't paint inside that housing at all? Did anyone do thor tailights I want to do them paintinthem black but I also wanted to get a amber paint for the turns like the jdm ones anyone do this? What paint for the turns? And exactly what paint did u use for the housings
