Quite Evo Exhaust: Thread

I was searching for a thread I saw a while back from someone who made a super quiet exhaust for their evo, basically put a secondary muffler in... no I couldn't find it

I'm investigating doing the same.... I got a Megan cat back, AMS dp, and I am looking to put a pass through 5" round borla SS muffler where the cat currently is.

I was looking for this thread that did something similar for support to understand the clearance that it actually fits with no concerns. I thought they used a 6" which makes me feel confident that I can do this with no problems.

I can't stand loud droning exhausts, the older I get the more its just not for me, I like them quiet at idle and steady state driving... when I put the hammer down I don't care too much (except open dump tubes... I don't do that anymore either)

Anyways, thought someone knew of the thread, or has some experience and can guarantee a 3" pipe setup will easily support a 5" muffler at the cat area.
Making a thread and asking is easier than jacking my car up and fooling around with pipe before I buy the muffler.

TIA

I run a 6" magnaflow round straight through in my cat location and ther is plenty of clearance its only 1 1/2" on each side of a 3" pipe so its not that big. I havea 5" buschur magnaflow in the back and its pretty quiet even with a fp black

Search for "quiet" not "quite"

I feel like an idot, however I have to admit I spelled it correctly in the search...(I understand if you don't believe me) still couldn't find it, I didn't even add exhaust in my search. Someone had some detailed pictures.....

Either way, I got the info I was looking for
Thanks guys
