Question What to expect out of used short block. NO FS THREAD

Since my last thread got closed by a mod not reading the whole thing, I'm back up asking this. THIS IS NOT A FS THREAD.

My question today, is where should I start the correct FS thread at? Since Evom requires a price, I'm curious on where to start with my block.

I ended up buying a longblock to replace my motor with, and have this short block left.

It is a complete shortblock, but I spun a main rod bearing. Cylinder walls were not even damaged. We pulled the motor out as soon as we caught the problem.

Came out of an 03 Evo 8. Pistons, crank, oil squiters, etc are still there.

If a mod has a problem with my post, please PM me.

THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE THREAD.

What info exactly are you looking for?
Want to understand what to do, or whats possible?
You need to get the block/crank inspected measured.
If your journals are damaged on your crank you can get it ground and get oversized bearings... if the block was damaged its going to be difficult to repair.

I've also had a similar issue with mods not reading the post correctly and closing them... it happens

damaged shortblock should be given to the person willing to pay for the shipping...
i mean your lucky to get 800 bucks for a shortblock in good condition

lol pretty sure it's worth something seeing shops charge for cores when people blow a hole in it.

I'll keep it and build it Thanks
