Exhaust leak at downpipe...

I have an exhaust leak where the DP meets the turbo assembly, I lost one of the bolts with the spring on it. Where can I get another one or what can I use in its place? I tried a normal bolt but it seemed to try to overtighten and bend the ear of the flange on my DP... Any help is appreciated. Thanks

You don't want to use a normal bolt as the heat will eventually weld the bolt to the hole. You need to go to an autoparts store and get the special exhaust bolts that should be around ISO 10.9 just to be safe.

honestly go to mitsu most 02 housings use the stock bolt assy most of the time its a 2 stud/bolt combo 2 springs and the locknuts, so you should be able to pick up a replacement set of hardware for that flange for under 10....
your welcome and good luck haha

Which DP do you have? Some of the after market DP come with new hardware to replace the Spring Bolts.

This is not possible. The heat is nowhere near hot enough to "weld" the bolt to the o2 housing. It can however rust together which is what usually happens from the high heat.

I recently switched o2 housings and for some reason the bolt holes were bigger diameter than the factory bolts and the guy I got it from didn't include the bolts, so I went to lowes and picked some up. I've done this thousands of times since u can get them for under a dollar. Be sure to use antiseize when you reinstall them and the threads should never rust together or seize up. As for the spring you would prob have to get that from mitsu, or u could prob source a junk valve spring from somewhere and that would work since it only puts tension on the bolt to keep it from backing out.
