boost leak test: do you plug the diverter valve outlet?
Finally got a chance to run a boost leak test and noticed most the air is traveling through the diverter valve output side when it hits 10ish psi. How do you all plug the actual output side of the valve to perform the test? Is there any other locations I need to plug up?
Basically I noticed while partial throttle, as soon as the turbo "whistle" begins to spool, there's actually two whistle noises. Like a higher tone before the actual turbo spool whistle kicks in. Just installed a rebuilt transfer case by shep so I know it isnt tc whine.

You don't plug it, because it leaking is a boost leak that you were testing for . It won't affect your metered airflow and make you run rich, but it will make your turbo work harder.

It should not leak at 10psi...As nirvancol said, you need a new BOV/DV & his suggestion is good, Synapse DV...I run the same one on my car and have boost leak tested it up to 25psi, held strong...
