Hi,My car has been making a loud roar ,It seems to be coming from the front left and driver side it sounds like ungodly tire roar. I have check the wheel bearing and axle has no clicking that would make be believe it was them . I have also replaced the tires and gone down size to make sure it was not them any idea's?

Btw the car is a 2006 with 33k miles No mods other than Rear sway bar and engine mount

 

Hmm, sounds like a wheel bearing..

 

an interesting "roar" I faced at one point was oddly enough a turbo going out. It was too horrendous souding to push the car much past 3000k as I had no idea it was the turbo (thought it was something more along the lines of the tcase about to explode). Good luck, OP.

 

I took it to the local mitsu dealer to have it checked .....
They claimed my bearing in my transmission was going out but it made no sense to me ... wither the clutch is in or out it still makes the same noise based on wheel speed not the speed of the engine ... could it be the transmission ?
