Lots of Evos for sale

Is it me or does it seem like a lot of people are selling their Evos? From what I've seen posted, most have just stretched too far financially to keep the Evo. That's too bad...

I did that once when I bought my Mustang Cobra back in '93, but I somehow kept stretching long enough to only sell it when I left for the Marines. Good luck to you soon-to-be former Evo owners.

Oh man, check the 350Z boards. There's a LOT of Zs for sale. You can get an Enthusiast model or better for something like $20k.

One of my Dad's friends (whom my dad sometimes help's him sell his vehicles) cycles his garages. He buys a car, sells it 6 months later. At one point he had two SL500's (both under 3000 miles) which he sold and bought a SL55. During that time he also had 4 Porche's all with under 4K miles. They have all been sold for other vehicles since then.

But I suppose I would do the same If I had the money.

I wish the real estate market didn't crash or I would have an EVO right now.

Yes, they are, but that makes me think there's more to the story. No way that car drops from $120K+ to mid-90s in a year. Especially after the 993 Turbos just dropped under $100K in the last couple of years.

I am saving up for a Skyline GT-R. If the new one sucks, then I will hunt down a 2 or 3 yr-old GT3. I think the GT3 will be a much rarer car (and hence hold its value better), plus it will be cheaper (relatively) to maintain the normally aspirated car.

Back on topic, I noticed 2 more Evos up for sale that I hadn't noticed before. I feel for you guys...

IS430 might be nice if it makes it to production.

When I got my new job, I had to take a pay cut. So, I had to get a 2nd job to be able to keep my Evo. The second one is part time (3 days, <20 hours ), and I know some weeks I actually bring home more from that job than I do my real one. Hey, gotta do what ya gotta do!

The Refi boom is not over yet either, that's for sure..

Naw its booming now again here, however in the early 90's it crashed. Where just doing different things now so were not really in the real estate scene no more, 15 years experince not bein excersized no more

Now its back, though its more land sales then housing sales.

I third the IS430......380hp they say

Also when I get tired of the import thingy, which will be hard with this Evo since it is so conntected to the road in every way!
I will look at a v8,,,, no turbo spikes, no boost controller issues, bov problems, all these little things add up. Just a nice v-8 with an exhaust!!! DONE.

The Caddy CTS-V looks mighty nice! 4 doors, trunk..... killer looks.

But these damn cars I look at to replace my evo with are all $50k.
Which at this time is out of my budget. $850/month payments would suck big fat sloppy *******. These include....

The C6------M3-------CTS-V........
