If your friend has a WRX he should have an insurance policy. That's where the payment should be coming from if it can't come out of his pocket.

If you even think about letting your mom's insurance have to pay for this then you are so totally not mature enough to have that car that it hopefully can never get fixed.

Until you mature enough to not get "alil drunk" unless your car is home and locked in the garage you shouldn't have a nice car. Go find a used Yugo. That's what immature drunks should have just in case of situations like this.

Thank you for posting about this. It's a good reminder to me to seriously think twice about letting somebody drive my car.

what matters how old he is....he is 21-22 I think... If you were drunk...would u drive the car yourself, or let a friend drive...if i was the drunk one and i drove, we would have all been dead....so it doesnt matter how old Rodney is

yo i like everyone hope you get everything squared away and works out nicely for you!

and personally, unlike lDB, i think u did the "mature" thing and gave your friend the keys instead of u thinking you were good enough to drive.

bro don't even say that your dumbass friend can't pay it off.....have him sell his f*kin car and pay yours off. He doesn't deserve to have his car for wrecking yours and preventing you from owning such a nice ride. If he doesn't pay for it, or you don't get your car back, I think I'd have a little batting practice with his WRX!

No, that would not be a proper thing to do.
His insurance should cover the costs of the crash and he should take a burden of (if) increased insurance. No need to trash another car or start eye for an eye revenge thing.
That is primitive.

sorry for the loss but if he's got insurance in his rex then his insurance should pay for it since he was the one driving your car, like when one rents a car. but if he is letting you pay for the repair that means he is no friend and lets all the burden of the accident go to you and your mommy!

maybe they just didn't know that they could do it like that with his insurance. Man everyone here has attitudes. Also to those tellin him to have batting practice on his friends car and all that, dude its his friend, im sure his friend feels absolutly horrible, and wants to help where he can. If it was your friend and u just said **** U SELL YOUR CAR OR IM GUNNA TAKE MY LOUISVILLE TO YOUR WRX, then i sure wouldn't want you as a friend. It's a tought lil situation because on one hand you gotta busted up ride, but on the other hand he's your friend. I would never just drop a friend because of that, im sure his friend feels like crap, and he should, but im sure everything will work out, just have his insurance pay for the damage. Everything will work out ok.
