Can shift faster than a manual, torq multiplier of an auto, faster 1/4 mi times, perfect launches, etc

I'd rock one, then again I'm a bracket racer so I have to throw in consistancy.

In the UK, i know that there were Evo VII or VIII GTA that had an auto transmission. So maybe it is possible that the outlander share the same bolt partern.

Same bolt pattern, wrong center diff. Looked into it 3 years ago. I might be looking into alternatives however.

The guys over at English Racing would be a good bunch to bounce this idea off of, they do build some badass autos.

Looks lika Aaron beat me too it!

That was my other concern, transfer case, and rear end ratio. Can you not just use the outlander Transfer case and rear end?

Search (probably on google) EVO 7 GTA and EVO 9 wagon GTA. They're both automatic versions of the EVO. There's obviously more differences than just the gearbox, the wagon comes with an transmission oil cooler. The engines on both those models were less powerful with smaller turbos to be a bit easier on the auto trans.

I'd be interested. Perfect for drag racing and easier on the drivetrain. The auto DSM's tear up the track!

I considered trying to import a JDM auto trans but it looked pretty costly.

If this works trans will be stalled, valve body upgrade, all that jazz... just need to figure out if I CAN do it. If so I might have a Shep trans and Exedy clutch to sell

EDIT*** where can I get that trans from anyone know?
