First day with EVO out of storage and stalls out

Want some quick feedback from some members here if I can. I've been deployed and the evo I purchased was in storage for a few months. I got it out today and let it run drove on the express way with no problems. Then on the exit ramp it stalled out and gave me the oil pressure light. Checked the oil and the levels were fine.. Not burning it up.

Checked the coolant tank and it was almost empty! I'm assuming she just overheated?

If so why would the oil light come on?

Also, any green coolant ? 50/50?

Did it smoke? Was there any leaks? Did the temp gauge go nuts on you?

The lights are an interesting twist... were you torquing it around the ramp? Could've exposed the oil pump?

I don't think the car would shut off from an overheat without actually seeing something happen...

It could be water in the fuel though... How much gas was in the tank and how long was it sitting?

I was thinking about this as well. Does the tank have STA-BIL in it?

Its normal for the dash lights to be on after the car dies because the key is still on the "on" position. Fill it up with good gas maybe even adding a gallon or two of race gas.

Car has been sitting for 2 months, started every weekend for 10-15 minutes.. I filled up with e85 about an hour prior to this happening. Was giving it a bit on the exit ramp and when we made a stop.. Power steering went out because the engine stalled and thats how i noticed.. Waited about 15 minutes and it started right up and drove home.. Added coolant and it has been fine ever since.. Could have been the ethanol and Coolant?

I doubt the coolant has anything to do with it. The fuel though... perhaps. Might be worth doing some fluid changes?

Also... welcome back.

Car is running fine still with no issues.. I'm thinking bad gas or bad mixture of old and new gas.
