Can you please post your dyno readings after all the mods have been added and your car tuned?

Amsoil Filter Install

I bent my ACD forward out of the way until it was almost touching the front cross member. I used two zip ties one attached to the intercooler pipe above and one to the MAF clamp to lift the MAF upward to take the weight off the ACD reservoir and the wires:

Kinda sloppy but it works for now.

Note: The trick to this install is you DO NOT unbolt the MAF Sensor from the air box until you have removed the assembly from the car. You only unscrew the clamp holding the MAF Sensor on the end of the intake pipe. The other thing to do is you DO NOT loosen the bolts slowly as this may break their anchors. Put a wrench on them and give them a sharp tap with a small hammer to get them loose first. I found this write up explaining all this.

Also, I called the Vibrant guys in Canada to double check about the stock gasket already on the MAF Sensor inlet between the MAF Sensor and the airbox. You DO leave it in place, the Vibrant gasket seals against the stock gasket. They answered their phones 15 minutes after closing time (5:15 PM EST, I was in the middle of this install and worried) and got me an answer in minutes. Good people.

Video, it's kinda hard to hear, it's a lot easier in person:

I hope this helps someone.

So I'm going digital but, is there any advantage over the Innovate LC-1? I was under the impression that features, price and performance-wise, they are the same as the LC-1 but I like the look of the LC-1 for matching an Evo dashboard better.

holy mackeral.

I was thinking of this as part of my second step but...

First Step:

WB
TBE
AirFilter
MBC
FuelPump
Tune
FMIC
tune

WAS thinking second step was:

S2 cams/valve springs/ARP head studs
Ported Intake/Exhaust
TB
O2 housing
Turbo for 93octane daily driver/road/track/AX/RX
retune

but What would be the cost/benefit of adding the rev 3 ported IM and 70mm TB to the step one setup? I'm trying not to redo install work so would this be duplicate effort when doing the Cams/Springs/Studs later on or can the head be removed without taking apart the IM/TB too much?

This is such a deal I just may have to do it...

Good deal right? You can do cams/springs/studs with the head in the car if you have the right tool I noticed you've got o2 housing in step two, that should be included in your TBE in step 1. If you did the manifold / TB now that would leave cams and turbo upgrade as step two, seems pretty logical to me!

Assuming I stay with stock battery, if I ordered the ETS IC kit (3.5", Evo9 widetank) would I still use 2.5" Intercooler Piping Size or would it go to 3"?

I'm guessing answer is 2.5" and it "requires a 3" to 2.5" coupler to mate up with stock sized intercooler pipes (most kits out there).":

For your boost control, I would get the hallman pro. Thing is awesome!

According to the MBC shootout that I read here at EvoM the Forge was the best by a hair. Since my tuner says I'll just set it and forget it with my 93octane only tune I decided to just go with the Forge and not take a chance on someone in my cockpit monkeying with the Hallman settings when I'm not paying attention.

BTW, this IS the correct answer. 3" to 2.5" Coupler is added to the order.

I still don't know whether I should get injectors NOW or wait until the turbo. I don't want to run out of injector and I know eventuallly I'll be putting that BBK Full BB (or it's logical successor) turbo on.

updated with injector choice which I moved to Step 1 power mods. My research here at EvoM (thanks mrfred et al) indicates that these will be the best starting/idling/daily driving injectors sufficient to support my goal of a 400+ AWHP, 93octane only, BBK-Full (ish), street/DD/occasional track day Evo.
