Which boost control?

I'm deciding between hallman pro manual boost control or Grimmspeed 3-port electronic Boost Control solenoid.

Main thing you need to know is that with the grimmspeed youll need to access the ecu to make any boost changes.

Don't send your ecu anywhere. Get a real tune, not some off the shelf bs tune that is crap.

Where I'm at there's no tune shop that works on evos. So I was going to send it to Dyno flash I read some good reviews. I would do it but I don't want to mess my car up

Dynoflash will mess your car up. You must not be reading reviews on evolutionm if you are finding "good reviews". But like I said in the past to other members, get yourself a tactrix cable and evoscan and have a remote tuner send you a map

Dynoflash won't mess your car up.............he's tuned thousands of EVO's.

I would also recommend getting a cable though and probably using Mellon or some others.

if you can't bring it to a shop and get tuned don't just buy a generic map. Get a tactrix cable and send it to a tuner, that way you can log your resluts with evoscan and send it back and forth until you have the tune dialed in.

also doing it that way you could use the grimmspeed and have each gear tuned individually.

+1 get a cable and do a e-mail tune (remote tune) thers a few tuners that do them pretty cheap also. I ran a dynoflash mail in tune wene i first got my evo it wasnt horrible but it was a block tune and night and day diffrence between a custom tune.
