Intake manifold or Gt35r

Long story short just put in my tranny built by jacks with a exedy HD twin. About to finish breaking it in and have some stuff to install:

STM intake
AEM fuel rail
FIC 1250s
Inline wally 255
Fuel Lab FPR
Custom upper with bung for AIT
Omni 4 bar
oil pressure sensor
fuel pressure sensor
AEM boost Solenoid
AEM series 2
and My new Kelford 272's

Current mods

ARC air box
buddy club 272
greddy intercooler with UICP
Muse LICP
wally 255
denso 720's
full race t3
gt30r
tial 44mm wg

With that being said I am going to be selling most of the stuff I take off and am wondering if I should stick with the 30r and get a AMS F1 intake or the new Magnus V5, or get a 35r.

Goals is for e85 450awhp. Car is my DD but also for road race.

I would stick with the 30r but also not get the AMS mani, I'm no expert but I would say its too big for the kind of power youre looking for. Rather and I'll ad for way cheaper, get the buschur ported mani with the ported throttle body. Big savings and theyll give decent gains, just look um up.

I'd dump both ideas and just go for an fp turbo. If your goal isn't over 550 whp just go for an hta green or red. Fp turbo have very good power bands.

whats your current power and boost level at ? im assuming your running pump gas? what kind of road courses are you running ?

35r will def make you the 450whp without a problem, but at the cost of spool. i agree with the above poster on the IM. good gains to be had, but with the 30r it may be too big for your needs. will decrease spool. also consider something like the boomba TB as that will give you a few more ponies as well.

with the right set up (you have qual parts already) a 30r will get you there and spool like a banshee making for a great street car. if your in LA, are you only running 91? chance for corn ?

30r turbo spool slower than fp turbo and have less top end.

Imo 30r were cool in 2003 to 2006.

Even an e9 turbo can up show some 30r.

Ya I'll agree with that, IMO an HTA green would be nice, youre pushing it to get 450 hp but it'll do it but it will also spool like crazy with minimal lag (as far as evos go.) If you were to get a red for more easier power, get a black instead.

Hta green is a very good pump gas turbo.

Black is a great e85 turbo will lay down with your list 500 whp easily.

Fp can't go wrong specially with the new bb series that's durable.

Add maybe minimum a 3.5" fmic but go for a 4"

for the amount of money you'll pour into a 30r or 35r for a setup, you can do an fp black your talking, and the cost savings can get you an upgraded internal wastegate, an 02 housing ported and coated if needed, as well as either a ported stock exhaust mani or tubular style that's just my 0.02.... e85 tune should put you at your goal with room to grow down the road.

Well if i were to go with a 35r it would just have to be the turbo.. I have the t3 manifold already and a tial 44. Fp black is a bolt on turbo for stock manifold right? I f the manifold is going to be too big then I will probably go with 35r. I would go with fp black but that would require to change setup which i would perfer not to. I do have access to e85. Looking to do some willow springs streets of willow tracks

+1. save your money and just get the fp red or black. The AMS intake will be too big for your goal of 450 whp. If you really want to do something to the intake mani, just get the BR ported stock intake mani.

35r will spool too slow.

Sell the t3 manifold and tial 44mm wg.

Buy a stock ported manifold and hta green better pump gas turbo than a black. Buy large 1200cc injectors with the wg money and ets 4" fmic.

Should make for a badass street set up.

I would go with an fp red over everything. 35r your spool will be crap. And you only want 450awhp. That's easily possible with a red on e85 and your spool will be great.

Looks like I am going to be swaying towards a green or red. We'll see what happens after I sell everything. I already have fic 1250's so Im good there. Definitely need to get a better front mount.

I would get the intake manifold considering your goals on E85. The endstate should be to select the "smallest" turbo that could achieve your goals at the desired boost level.
