Good info man.....^
So in other words, if you attempt this in 3rd or 4th gear and the car stalls and turns off the clutch is fine/or OK. If the car revs and stays ON clutch is slipping from stand still, correct?
2. When you apply the handbrake on your fancy AWD vehicle, this is like... the jacka** version of putting a load on the car. If you (for some unknown reason) need to find out if your clutch is in fact incapable of holding under the worst case scenario, then put the car into 3rd or 4th at low RPM and give it some gas. If its slipping, you'll feel it. But be advised... this is a good way to blow a hole in the side of your motor.

No m8. Think of it this way. When you apply the gas pedal, the car should move forward. It should somewhat match the noise that its making if the clutch is engaged. If your clutch is disengaged (neutral) and you apply the gas pedal, the engine will rev, but the car won't move. So when you're in a SAFE high load situation... 3rd gear at 2k RPM and you apply the gas, the car should move forward in a spirited fashion. But if the clutch is slipping, the engine will still accelerate at a spirited fashion, but the car will seem to be... not spirited.
