That is ProSport. If I was going with them I'd go with the mechanical because it's noticeably faster, but that will vary with brands and the quality of parts like the stepper motors they use in the electric ones. The electronic Greddy boost gauge I have now is very quick and responsive, a lot more than the ProSport one.

How come two boost gauges from the same manufacture are 20% off each other?

I would stick to a boost gauge and wideband. The AEM Uego is very popular and works pretty good.

All this Defi love, yet comparing them to accurate gauges.. You realize how inaccurate they really are. My Defi boost read easily 5psi high. Sometimes 7. Needless to say I wont use them anymore. Sure they look cool and are "jdm".. But really?

Boost, Accurate Wideband, Oil pressure. This is all that is needed.

Boost, Wideband and Oil press.

Ive got all Aem gauges and love them. They are auto dimming and are nice and clear during the day or night. I like the fact that its a number readout other then looking at a needle/guage.

I think that everyone passing over EGT so easily is only because you have a reasonably well tuned car to begin with and you are only WOT tuning. If you were like us base lancer guys, you'd really see the benefit of a EGT gauge, because it really helps to get your cruise timing in a better place. You can do it with calculating "fuel consumption" in evoscan...but also seeing EGT climb really fast in certain scenarios is the best way I know to find those spots you need more timing at less than 100 load.

I had Defi's since I had the car. Sold them earlier this year for the prosport halo series and haven't looked back.
