Question water in turbo! help

To make a long story short it rained a few weeks ago pretty bad and I was driving down a two lane road and was trying to avoid a huge puddle by going around it but instead was run off the road by a semi into the puddle going about 15-20 mph and I sucked up water. Motor is done but my concern is the turbo. It's got 85k miles on it and I've notice the seals are leaking just a tid bit of oil, the usual poor of smoke out the exhaust and a friend told me. But my question is is should I replace the turbo? Idk I need some advice here
Guess it wasn't so short haha.

Just do a IX turbo as long as the motor's out. You'll still have to drop money to have it rebuilt to fix the leaks, so why not upgrade a bit in the process?

yes replace it, u dont want to chance anything after installing it only to find that the turbo is still the problem. the 9 turbo is fairly cheap.

If you are already pulling the turbo, you could send the core to CBRD to have it built into a BBK.

It was a pretty decent amount, the engine bay was all wet and my filter was soaked. It sucks!

That's exactly what I'm gonna do what's in my signature is what I'm doing the buschur 2.0 buschur built head and fp black. My buddy has a black that he is letting go to me for a good price. The motor comes out today!
