Best Exhaust? bang for the buck

ok i have been doing alot of searching but cant find much so here it gose. im picking up my first EVO IX MR this saturday all stock one owner (very rare i know!!) so first thing is i wanna do the basic upgrades starting with the exhaust. in your guys opinion what exhaust sounds the best? what gives good performance for a good price? what are some of the setups you guys are running? any info/ video clips would be great. thanks

There is no way you tried searching and didnt find anything on exhausts. This thread is gonna get closed.

If I could go back would have left the cat back stock and would have done some sort of cut out, because bang for the buck you will be spending a lot of money on tickets trust me we in the forum know all about it.

^^ im not to worried about tickets. the car isnt going to be a daily driver.

if loudness is not the concern, you can find any full 3 inch tbe from megan, ams, bushur, greddy to HKS.

yea i know but they all cant sound the same right? and price/quality is a factor here to. i also dont want something that is crazy loud when im just cruising around town. i want something that is some what quiet and then screams when im WOT

Personally, I like the Buschur Bullet. just my .02 though.

absolutely right ! or you could buy the whole thing then get an HKS SILENT cat
and then you would have the performance and good but NOT loud sound

If sound isnt an issue, get the AMS TBE with a test pipe... Pure sexyness... Also the Buschur isnt bad at all!

Hks is not full 3" most are 2.75 at the cat and then go back to 3".

If you want something quiet and then screams when you're WOT, get a cutout that's wastegate actuated

Otherwise the best value for money is probably eBay since you can get a full turboback for ~$400

Custom dual 4" inch exhaust with HKS mufflers will do the trick.....

buschur magnaflow turboback. quiet, no drone on freeway, subtle loud at wot. full 3" and lightweight, great price. i personally have one. done close thread. we all know u didnt search. Theres a search bar at the top, type whatever your trying to find in there. thats how u navigate.
