Help please!!
resolved. delete
Hey guys something on my evo 8 gsr is messed up. I did a little research and read that it could be something wrong with ignition such as the plugs or wires. But here is what is going on.
Whenever I am in gear with the clutch fully disengage and then accelerate is sounds like my clutch is slipping right before it fully catches and starts to really accelerate. That is really the only way I can think of how to explain it. So like the title says. Please Help!! lol. Thanks guys - Jason

no the clutch is fine. i said it feels like the clutch is slipping, or sounds if you will. I am fully in gear when it happens and only when i accelerate.

sorry its hard to explain. it sounds and feels like it. But i have never had a clutch slip while in gear. Literally I will be cruising in 3rd at 35 for example for lets say a hundred feet with my foot completely off the clutch. while my left foot is off, i push on the gas with my right... and right after i hear the spool the engine takes a minute and dogs, then revs if you will then catches. but then i can pound any gear without any clutch slipping. I hope that makes somewhat more sense. sorry its just a weird thing to explain.

Sounds like it is in fact, slipping.

#1 "fully disengage" is when your foot is holding the clutch to the floor and I promise your car will not "really accelerate" "if you will".
#2 to test to see if your clutch is slipping "if you will" get the car up to speed in 5th gear "if you will" at about 3000 RPM. that can be detected by the tach "if you will". now with the clutch fully engaged, pedal all the way out, foot off the pedal "if you will" hold the gas down and see if the RPM's "if you will" go up and come back down while the car accelerates "if you will".
