Im glad to see this thong has really taken off. i signed it a couple days ago when it was just in the 2xxx's. It still needs quite a bit but its making good progress.

Why not go RHD?
The Skylines being seized were seized because they were imported illegally. Those cars are still going to be seized no matter what laws are changed. It's not the fact that they're in the country, it's the fact that they were brought in illegally. There's a few completely legal Skylines around, but the majority of the Skylines in the USA are here based on fudged paperwork or were brought in completely illegally without any of the correct papers at all. I've seen more than a few Skylines with 240SX titles.
To be completely honest, I'm more concerned about the use of Homeland Security time and money being spent on chasing down cars and destroying them.
Not to be that guy... but I know a bunch of the Skyline owners are going to love this, as they were initially taking them away from owners due to some stupid laws...
I for one would love to sign this petition.. not for a evo6 but to make life a little easier for car enthusiasts such as myself...

i signed it , i might actually even post on a few other forums i go to as well. id love to get my hands on something that was never offered over here R34, older evos, 99 -00 rx-7s, supras etc.... i would love to see this actually go into effect.

and this guy replies pretty quickly "the words 'car' and 'brign back to the states should NOT be used in the same sentence'"tool. you just gotta be careful what state it goes thru, from what i've heard. also, calling it a kit car or having a shop order it as a 'chassis' for you have been thrown around as ideas (after you make it street legal of course)
